He writes feature articles on firearms training and what is new and innovative in police weapons in Canada. He has also profiled many police agencies, and his article on ceramic body armour was reprinted in an international police publication. Film Safety Dave Brown is a member of IATSE Local 856 Motion Picture Technicians in Winnipeg. He has been Firearms Safety Coordinator, technical advisor or armorer on numerous movie, theater and opera productions. Dave is available for consulting, training or coordinating the safety of firearms for film, TV and theater productions, large or small. When not behind the camera, you can may even spot Dave in some of his brief cameo roles.
