Since you've taken the time to come to my web site, I guess I should tell you a little bit about myself. I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba in Canada. I've been here on and off again for the last 22 years. I was born in Saanich, British Columbia, and have also lived in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and Swan River, Manitoba. I have one sister, two brothers, two sister-in-laws, two nephews and two neices. Unfortunately, both of my parents have passed away. Currently, I work as a Software Developer.
Diversions
I'm a geocacher and have found over 1,150 caches in 8 provinces and 4 states. For more information on Geocaching, please visit the main website here. I am currently the Vice-President of the Manitoba Geocaching Association
I like to volunteer for various charities and festivals in the Winnipeg area, including The Winnipeg Fringe Festival.
I love to travel. I have an affinity for road trips, but also love to fly. I prefer going someplace with more historical interest, than to somewhere tropical.
I'm collecting sunset postcards. So far I have 400+ postcards in my collection.
Organizations of Interest
The Winnipeg Fringe Theatre Festival - I spent two weeks each summer volunteering at this festival. It's a fun fantastic time. If you have a chance, come and check it out!
The Canadian Diabetes Association - My father and grandmother both had Diabetes. And, now, I'm told that I'm diabetic as well, although it is being controlled by pilled form medication.
The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Winnipeg - After being diagnosed with Diabetes in 1984, my father suffered many heart attacks and strokes. After 10 years, his body was ravaged and he passed away, not being able to fight the pneumonia in his body.
